Wrong Decision

I disagree with this opinion. Based solely on the article - we are not privy to the fully detailed Stronach "conditions" - I find the decision to decline absurd. Churches have had benefactors for centuries. So what if Magna wanted a say on the grounds or the interior. At least a church would be built. We attend catholic mass in a high school gym in Ottawa. I'll take a donated church any day. Parishioners will still feel part of the family as their weekly donations will pay the operating fees, salaries, etc. My own pastor might disagree with me, but I would have voted to accept the money.
