For Shame!

I am totally outraged. I called the office staff to ask them to apologize to the Canadian people or to quit their jobs, because they're obviously incapable of doing what's expected of them. Abortion is a controversial issue, and it is not a closed debate. Pro-life or pro-choice, it is a touchy issue and the Governor General (and its office) is to be non-partisan: it has to not take sides on any issue. By awarding this "honour", it has made its choice for which side of the heated debate it supports. They were not impartial. They have failed Canada. For shame!
