TORONTO - Fr. Gino Carinci, an associate pastor at many parishes across Toronto and a member of the Redemptorists, died on April 14 in Sunnybrook Medical Centre. He was 75.
Born in 1932, Fr. Carinci was ordained to priesthood in 1977 for the Redemptorists (Rome Province). He moved to Canada in 1977 and was incardinated into the archdiocese of Toronto.
Fr. Carinci served in many parishes, including Our Lady of Victory, St. Brigid’s and Holy Spirit. He was in residence at St. Clare’s parish until he retired in 1991.
His funeral was held April 19 at St. Philip Neri Church. He is interred at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Woodbridge.
