I have two illuminated cacti.
that look
like desert things; my heart is
a flower
I have looked for in
the wilderness.
The cactus is a cross.
No one must know how beauty is made.
I have been to the desert.
I have seen mountains;
and I have seen nothing
like the way I lose my tears
to grief
and am forgiven.
