Charge admission to the
pilgrimage grounds.
Use the statues of saints
sparingly.
Get rid of the Latin texts in the library.
Use psychological profiling of candidates
Instead of good sense.
Put abstract pictures in place of
Devotional icons.
Use trendy words like "positive" and "faith journey" in retreat brochures.
Keep leasing the grounds
To film companies.
Open up the cloisters to male and female
Retreatants.
Apply for an application as a SPA.
When that is done, sit around and wonder
Why the serious young men aren't coming,
And shuffle vocations directors until the cows come home.
