Gone prematurely, remembered always.

Rebecca Maureen (Becky) Beaton passed away early one mid-May morning after a gutsy 30-month battle with cancer. Becky was just 36 and I was proud to call her my niece for that seemingly brief period of time.

A time to search and a time to give up. 

Words are seldom minced from the pulpit of the Cornwallis Street Baptist Church in Halifax. A couple Sundays past was no different as pastor Rhonda Britton and the congregation tackled the recurring issue of racial discrimination.
