'Bubble zone' law constitutionally challenged

Lawyers for Fr. Tony Van Hee say they’ll press forward with a constitutional challenge to Ontario’s abortion clinic “bubble zone” law despite charges being dropped against the 87-year-old Jesuit priest.

‘Bubble-zone’ law comes into effect

Pro-lifers are sounding the alarm about the new “bubble-zone” laws that become active Jan. 16, 30 days since Bill C-3 attained royal assent.

Pro-life advocates prepare for implementation of abortion bubble zone on Feb. 1

New “bubble zone” legislation may force the National March for Life to alter the route of its annual march through the streets of Ottawa.The Ontario law prevents abortion protests within 50 metres of an abortion clinic.

OTTAWA – Pro-life advocates are making plans to address a new law in Ontario that will create “bubble zones” around abortion facilities and likely force the National March for Life in Ottawa to find a new route.
