Pope goes on a mission for migrants

The Pope is scheduled to visit Morocco, a nation of 35 million people who are mostly Muslim, March 30-31. Right, migrants are seen before disembarking at Del Canuelo in southern Spain in 2018. By mid-2018 the number of migrants arriving in Spain, usually from Morocco, had surpassed the number arriving in Italy.

VATICAN CITY - Pope Francis wanted to go to Morocco in December to draw attention to the need for international co-operation in assisting migrants and in alleviating the situations that force people to seek a better life outside their homeland.

Remedy against violence is seeing differences as beneficial, says Pope
