Investigation of stolen Michelangelo notes underway after ransom demand

Italian police are investigating after a top Vatican official received a ransom demand for Michelangelo’s stolen notes. More than 10,000 parchment, documents and slips of paper connected with the basilica’s design were stolen. Michelangelo is best known for painting the Sistine Chapel during the last two decades of his life.
