{mosimage}In August, the Canadian Catholic Organization for Development and Peace will take its first combined French-English group of young adults to the Philippines.

The “Young Adult Solidarity Trip” aims to expose young adults to the reality of the global south and teach first-hand what Development and Peace does through its programs and partners.

The deadline for signing up is March 17. The nearly 20-day experience, which includes pre-trip orientation and post-trip debriefing, is open to ages 18-35. The cost of $1,200 helps with flights, accommodations, food, visas and insurance.

Upon their return, each participant is expected to commit and actively participate in D&P programs in Canada.

To obtain an application form or more information, contact Genevieve Gallant, youth programs director at Development and Peace, through e-mail at ggallant@devp.org or by phone at 1-800-494-1401 or at (416) 922-1592 ext. 230.
