Why Rosica?

  • November 30, 2023

Why would The Catholic Register publish the article “Changing journey along synodal path” about Fr. Tom Rosica’s views on the October Synod of Bishops?

Rosica has no official connection to the meetings except that he spoke about the topic to 50 people in Montreal. He resigned as CEO of Salt + Light Media Foundation after some of his writings were found to be plagiarized. We can all fall and need to ask for forgiveness. The concern is that the article reports on the work of Fr. Timothy Radcliffe and Sr. Ignazia Angelini. Both want a more progressive Church, open to LGTBQ persons, female deacons, blessing homosexual unions and communion for divorced couples.

This is divisive and serious.
