It’s a start

Regarding the Editor’s comment on my letter published in The Catholic Register Oct. 22 issue:

There once was a man named Killackey
Who gave Register staff a good whacking.
    Until Farrow he read
    Then let it be said:
    Killackey now rhymes with backtracking

When I called for a revolution based on the poetry of Catholicism in Canada, I had something more profound, of deeper dogmatic significance, and more inspirational style, than the contribution above. It could be argued this verse strongly supports my opinions of TheRegister. Nevertheless, it is a start. If we allow this poetic form into our revolution, I would strongly caution avoiding referencing our friend from Nantucket, who will appear as we slide down the slippery slope of tastefulness. Our revolution will become less one marking the movement of the Spiritus Sanctus, and more one promoting the work of the recent Synod.
