{mosimage}TORONTO - Bella, a small movie that has been making big waves everywhere from the Toronto International Film Festival, where it won the 2007 People’s Choice Award, to church halls where it has been showing in recent months, is finally coming to commercial movie screens across Canada.

Maximum Films will release the movie in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver, plus some smaller cities, April 11.

The story of a night of conversation between a young, pregnant waitress and a cook who used to be a rising soccer star has cast both the abortion debate and how society views young people in a different, less divisive light.

For the theatres Bella will play at, check your daily newspaper April 11.
