{mosimage}TORONTO — If ecology isn’t a religious issue that will be news to Toronto poet laureate Fr. Giorgio Di Cicco, who will open a day-long forum sponsored by Faith and the Common Good’s Greening Sacred Spaces program April 12.

Di Cicco’s keynote speech, to be delivered at the forum which runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Northrop Frye Hall, 73 Queen’s Park Cres. E., on the campus of the University of Toronto, is titled “The Ecology of the Heart.”

After a day of learning how the average parish can save money and the planet, the day will close with Green Party leader Elizabeth May speaking on “Politics and Faith: Inspiring Values that Lead Towards Peace and Sustainability.”

The $20 admission fee includes a vegetarian lunch. To register see www.faith-commongood.net, or call (416) 978-5306.
