Hill, a professor of ethics at the Duke University Divinity School, argues that the fortunate and the strong discover their true humanity when they come in contact with the vulnerable.

The lecture will take place at the Isabel Bader Theatre of Victoria College on the campus of the University of Toronto at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 and available from L’Arche Toronto, (416) 406-2869 ext. 0, L’Arche Daybreak, (905) -884-3454 ext. 233, and L’Arche Canada Foundation, (905) 770-7696.
