Merton workshop comes to town

TORONTO - The Thomas Merton Society of Canada is offering an opportunity to get to know the 20th century’s most famous American monk.
A Thomas Merton Workshop at Toronto’s Seneca College Conference Centre will get underway with a keynote speech from retired Senator Douglas Roche on April 27 at 7:30 p.m. The event will continue with a day’s worth of activities April 28, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The conference centre is located at 1760 Finch Ave. E.

Tickets for the Friday evening keynote are $15, and for the Saturday morning program are $30. The Saturday afternoon program will cost $30.
