Marches for Life marks 50 years of abortion in Canada

National March for Life Ottawa 2019. Organizers were not allowed to use the steps for their speakers and had to make do with a riser at the foot of the steps. Half of the lawn was blocked off; and a portion of the side the Marchers could use was for counter-protestors who numbered fewer than 100

OTTAWA —Marches of Life in Ottawa and in a number of provincial capitals, including Toronto, marked the 50th anniversary of legalized abortion in Canada May 9.
