Historic images of Good Friday procession portray a community of faith

Photographer Vincenzo Pietropaolo has been faithfully documenting College Street’s Good Friday procession of St. Francis of Assisi Parish for every year but one since 1968. The best from Pietropalo’s collection of Good Friday photographis have been assembled in a book, ‘Ritual.’ A variety of images are also on display during Holy Week at Toronto’s St. Francis of Assisi Parish

For over four decades, this photographer documented the underprivileged

Veteran photographer Vincenzo Pietropaolo has been photographing refugees and migrants for more than four decades.

The sword of justice sometimes takes the form of a sliver of light that slips into a camera for just 1/60th of a second.
