MP launches petition against violence after assaults at LifeChain pro-life demonstrations

On Oct. 6, Jordan Hunt, 26, was charged with eight counts of assault and seven counts of mischief for the alleged kick and for allegedly scribbling on the clothing and signs of the demonstrators, and tearing a ribbon off Campaign Life Coalition’s youth co-ordinator Marie-Claire Bissonnette’s clothing.
OTTAWA – Conservative MP Garnet Genuis has called on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to condemn political violence after news of several incidences of assault against pro-life demonstrators.
