Self-righteous glitterati

I’m 55 years old, bald, and 20 pounds overweight. In other words, I didn’t make a point of sitting down on a late January Sunday night to watch the Grammy music awards. Our youngest daughter, however, is 16 so she most certainly did.
I only took a look close to the end, mainly to remind her to turn the electric heater off when she went to bed. There it was. The “marriage” of 33 couples live on television, many of them gay and all with the agenda of telling the world that there is only one love and that if anyone disagrees with that one love we have to hate them.
We were also told that there was only one God, which was a welcome but somewhat surprising declaration of monotheism from the assembled glitterati. What they really seemed to be saying was that all religions are the same and that they all should champion same-sex marriage. As with most of these millionaire self-congratulatory events it was hubris posing as humility and reaction pretending to be revolution.
