On Christian women mystics

TORONTO — From Julian of Norwich, Clare of Assisi, Teresa of Avila and hundreds of others, Christian women draw on a rich heritage of mysticism. Rev. Glenda Meakin of the Christian Meditation Community of Canada will outline that heritage at the regular monthly teaching meeting of the Christian Meditation Community of Toronto on April 26.
One of a monthly series of talks on the roots of Christian mysticism, Meakin’s exploration of women mystics will be accompanied by a period of meditation in Room #4, Knox College, 59 St. George St., 7 to 9 p.m.
