Through your support for ShareLife, priests in formation are able to attend St. Augustine’s Seminary and the Redemptoris Mater Missionary Seminary where they learn to tend to the Lords vineyard and work for the salvation of souls.

And it’s not just future priests. St. Augustines Seminary educates permanent deacons and lay people serving our parishes.

“Each of us seminarians wants to bring God to the people. It is with your ongoing support that we are able to be well-formed for that arduous task,” shares Michael Beaupre. “On behalf of each seminarian who has benefitted from your contribution to ShareLife, I humbly thank you.”

With each new academic year at the seminary, Beaupre observed the arrival of new seminarians as seeds called by the Lord, each one with the potential to grow into a priest who uplifts our community with their faith and service.

The generous support received by ShareLife sows seeds of hope for the next generation, ensuring priests receive the formation necessary to spread the Gospel and provide pastoral care.

God planted the seed of a priestly vocation in Moonjun Alphonse Chois’ heart when he was just 12 years old. As he grew, that call only deepened, inspired by the unwavering faith of Pope John Paul II and his tireless devotion to saving souls. A fire was lit within him, a dream to one day become a priest.

That dream took its next step when Chois entered St. Augustines Seminary, where God has led him through moments of joy, deep reflection and a faith that continues to grow. His path has been one of both grace and challenge, yet he has walked forward without fear because of ShareLife supporters.

“Your support means the world to me and to all seminarians,” said Chois. “It allows us to pursue that dream given to us by God in our hearts, the call to be a merciful, loving and holy priest of Jesus Christ.”

This generosity has lifted the burden of financial worry, allowing Chois to embrace his calling fully and prepare for a life of service to the Church. Now in his third year of theology, he carries you in his prayers with deep gratitude.

The Church endures because of the quiet strength and faithful love of people who support of ShareLife. It helps form future priests, men who will listen, accompany, comfort and offer Christ to the world.

Fr. James Cyfko had spent a decade in formation at St. Augustines Seminary, preparing to lay down his life for the people of God. In 2025, he was ordained a priest.

“I deeply appreciate the ongoing charity of ShareLife,” said Cyfko. “I am eager to give back to the community which has helped me focus on faithfully following my vocational calling. Your devotion lifts the burden of financial worry, enabling seminarians to embrace God’s call fully in preparation for a life of service.”

The support paves the pathway for these vocational journeys of the Pilgrims of Hope who will guide, serve and uplift the Church in the years to come.
