Misinformed form

The Register's form of Catholicism is confusing from the point of view of the prophetic Catholicism of Island Catholic News. Traditional Catholicism usually roots itself in a specific historical period, which it considers normative. You seem rooted in a form of Roman Catholicism that is only emerging in the wake of Trump American nationalism. Canada is not yet the United States. Our sensibility seems radically different particularly in terms of gun control, which seems pertinent in the Charlie Kirk coverage. A more nuanced reporting would be helpful.
