Welcome all

My family goes to the Saturday Vigil Mass at St. John Vianney Parish in Barrie. On October 18th, our church was full of young families who came to register for First Communion, Confirmation, and RCIC. It was so nice to see the church packed with children and parents. We pray these families keep coming back every week to join us in thanking God for all His blessings.Some of us who go to Mass every week might feel upset that the parking lot is full or that we have to sit somewhere new. Sometimes, new people come late or forget to take off their hats. But we should be patient and kind. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me.” Everyone is welcome in God’s house. Let’s pray that the Holy Spirit helps these new families feel at home at Mass.
