Negative signs

March 15, 2026

Regarding Quinton Amundson's story about prohibition of graphic imagery on Parliament Hill, as much as I oppose abortion, I often feel uncomfortable about depictions of it being shown without people's consent. It's an extremely challenging and disturbing thing to witness. It carries a large degree of unpredictability in how someone may react. I believe it's something that should be only shown to those already in a state of mind open to pro-life rhetoric, and with clear content warnings. Blood is a common phobia and can be very triggering to survivors of trauma without time to steel their nerves.
