Circular logic

I respectfully disagree with your editorial, “Pope, PM’s circle of sanity.” You rightly praise Pope Leo’s wise response to the American-Israeli attack on Iran calling for peace, diplomacy and prayer instead. These two countries launched an unprovoked war of aggression against Iran which is illegal under international law. Why wasn’t that mentioned in the editorial? You approve of PM Mark Carney’s support for this war against Iran even though it contradicts the Pope's statement. There's no logical connection between Pope Leo’s message of peace and the PM’s pro-war stance.
