Papal witness

Churchill is said to have mobilized the English language and sent it into battle. I think he is being outdone by our first American Pope. Leo XIV does not speak English as a matter of course, as was especially noted at his election appearance on the balcony. When he does it is to address a specific audience. He is getting to the essence of what it means to be a Christian witness: "I have no fear of the Trump administration" – unbelievable words in this day and age. They are words Catholics like First Lady Melania Trump, VP JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the U.S. Cardinals & bishops should ponder.
