Mother misses mark

  • March 28, 2024

The movie Mother Cabrini is a beautiful tribute to this strong missionary who, overcoming obstacle after obstacle including her poor health, founded schools and orphanages all over the world.

Sadly, though while her faith is implied, the movie misses the mark regarding her complete devotion to Jesus, calling Him her spouse. Mother Cabrini was driven by this love. She drew her strength and all the qualities that made her a great saint, from her fidelity and trust in God.

This is a movie not to be missed, but if you’re looking for the underpinnings drawn from Catholicism, it isn’t there.
