One year after his murder, Fr. Jacques Hamel remembered

ROME, Italy – One year after the brutal killing of Fr. Jacques Hamel, French bishops recalled the beautiful example of the man who lived out every day in simple faithfulness, rooted in the love of Christ.

Assassinated French priest joins procession of martyrs, Pope says

VATICAN CITY – To kill in the name of God is satanic, Pope Francis said at a special requiem Mass for a French priest assassinated by youths claiming allegiance to the Islamic State.

Fr. Jacques Hamel: a model of peace

Priest slain in France while saying Mass; ISIS claims attack
