In theory, the idea of organ donations is laudable. In current practice, it is condemnable. The demand for organs is insatiable and highly profitable. Injured or ailing individuals and families are pressured mercilessly to not allow themselves or their loved ones the time or resources to heal, but to instantly give up and “be a hero” by choosing to donate their organs.

Do you remember the number one fear we had when the Digital Revolution began? I do. When we saw our beloved books, indispensable reference tomes, and vital paper documents migrating to online spaces.

Anything media-wise can be faked today. Anything. We are living in a world of smoke and mirrors and deep deception like never before, because we have powerful tools of deception like never before.

Yes, I’m writing about Artificial Intelligence again. There’s so much to say and it just won’t go away.

“How did you guys look stuff up before the internet and ChatGPT? Did you just run to the library all the time?” an earnest young lady queried recently online.

Have we been scammed by Artificial Intelligence? Or more accurately, have we been scammed by a handful of companies and their powerful CEOs to believe that AI is the answer to all our human limitations?

One big temptation for religious types when it comes to “Evolution,” is the belief that soul/spirit/the spiritual is also evolving (meaning, automatically becoming better and even transforming into some great unknown). I never bought this, even as a kid.

Sufficient information, motivation and self-discipline go into both foregoing and using media intentionally, humanly and optimally at any age.
